Our Story

In 2025, Louisiana Troopers Charities and the Louisiana Trooper Foundation united to form the Louisiana State Troopers Foundation, bringing together their charitable efforts under one organization with a shared vision of expanding support for the Louisiana State Police and the communities they serve.

By combining resources, leadership, and a longstanding commitment to service, the new Foundation is better positioned to provide meaningful assistance to Louisiana State Troopers and their families while strengthening partnerships throughout our state.

The Foundation's mission is:
"To encourage and support the health, safety, and welfare of the Louisiana State Police in their continuing effort to grow and be recognized as a leader and role model in law enforcement, safety, training, and a source for assistance for local agencies, our communities, and businesses."

Today, the Louisiana State Troopers Foundation proudly supports programs and initiatives that enhance officer wellness, provide assistance during times of need, invest in training and public safety education, and strengthen the relationship between the Louisiana State Police and the citizens they serve. Through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community partners, the Foundation is committed to ensuring that Louisiana State Troopers have the resources and support necessary to continue protecting our state with professionalism, integrity, and excellence.

The IRS has classified the Louisiana State Troopers Foundation as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. This allows donors to support our mission through a tax-deductible donation to the Louisiana State Troopers Foundation. For more information please contact our office at (225)928-2000.
